I begin with watercolor, dropped on the wet watercolor paper. Sometimes i place a plast foil on the wet painting and let it dry.  All the foldings from the plast foil have made some patterns and shapes.  Then it is about finding something interesting and make a painting out of it. Perhaps like this:
